High definition printing systems feature D.O.D. (Drop On Demand) piezoelectric technology. Font size from 1,9 mm to 102 mm (0,075″ – 4″), they can print any text or graphic image in very high resolution (up to 300Dpi) for the total packaging personalization of any material, porous and non-porous or plastic coated.
Zanasi high definition systems offer a huge economic advantage: printing on blank cases minimizes variations in inventory and simplifies inventory planning.


Z640Plus is the sole industrial HD inkjet printer to feature a double printhead that allows for simultaneous and independent coding on porous or non-porous substrates on two separate production lines. The printheads available are: T768 which can print up to 102mm high (4″) and T384 and T384FDI (Fast Drying Ink) which can print up to 51mm high (2″). Z640Plus system can print real time high quality alphanumerical texts, logos and other graphics onto secondary packaging. In addition, it can print major barcodes and standard variable data with high contrast patented inks (solvent free). Z640Plus is perfectly suitable to print both on porous and non-porous substrates. The non-porous printing is made possible by utilizing ZFast ink, which provide fast-drying, highly durable print as a cost-effective and high-performing alternative to labels and wax-based ink. Z640Plus, equipped with an industrial PC (Windows 7 Embedded), features a fast and reactive user interface with a 12,1″ SVGA full colour touch-screen panel and a 64 GB SATA Hard Disk SSD (Solid State Disk).
